A Passion for Orthodontics and Creating Confident Smiles
"I consider this the best job ever! Smiles are such a wonderful thing and I love seeing a person’s transformation from their first visit to the day treatment is done."
“Each and every patient is different and I love the challenge that fact presents. I enjoy helping each person choose the treatment modality that is right for them and then, seeing that plan through to their finished smile.
“Most of all, I love how transformational orthodontics can be in patients’ lives. Receiving letters from former patients, about how much of an impact their orthodontic treatment had on them continues to drive my passion for what I do.” ~ Dr. Derek Hoffman

Beyond the Practice
“My family and I love calling Clay County home!”
Originally from Ocala, Dr. Hoffman and his family now reside in Fleming Island. He and his wife Susan were high-school sweethearts. They’ve been married for more than 15 years and have three delightful children: Ellie, Miles, and Charlie.
Dr. Hoffman enjoys quality family time. They love going to the beach, hanging out by the pool, vacationing in the mountains of North Carolina, and visiting Florida theme parks. Dr. Hoffman also enjoys surfing, golfing, running, and cooking — especially on the Big Green Egg.
The family belongs to Grace Anglican Church, where Dr. Hoffman serves in various capacities. He volunteers at the local soup kitchen, too, and coaches soccer.
